Students in the second grade spend a great deal of time on the classroom rug. This rug will also allow for alternative seating for students who are in need of a more "grounded" learning experience. The square of this particular rug allows for students to work on personal space as each child will have their own square. The size of this rug is due to having nearly 30 students in my classroom. The purchase of this rug for the classroom will allow for students to have a better learning experience as a whole group or in smaller groups with teacher directed support!
