These durable and high quality headsets will allow the students to to record themselves in student created videos and aid them in being able to make practice recordings in preparation for their AAPPL assessments. Additionally, they will be able to better listen to narrations and record themselves giving their own feedback using a variety of educational applications. I have found that students become much more invested in using their new Spanish language skills when they can record themselves (and re-record, as may be necessary) and then present to and share with their classmates. Unfortunately, the cheaply-made, less-expensive headsets that I have used in the past do not last in an elementary setting, even with the best care. These that have been selected have received hundreds of positive reviews and to protect them I plan on acquiring very protective and sturdy containers for each pair to help them last for many years to come.
