My class will be composed of loving six-year-olds who really want to learn. Unfortunately our classroom currently does not have any floor seating options. My students needs a comfortable, cozy and inviting place to sit during lesson time. This classroom rug will provide a place for my students to comfortably sit together while I read stories aloud, teach math and literacy, and also a place for them to sit during work time since I allow flexible seating in my class. These are reasons why the classroom rug would be beneficial to the students.
