My students would greatly benefit from items to build up our new classroom! I am a new teacher who needs items to build a classroom culture that is warm and inviting! This project is to benefit the students' learning environment. Books will be used to increase reading levels, comprehension, and reading stamina. Writing materials will be used to start daily journals for each subject. Other materials will be to help ensure every student has a safe, comfortable learning environment. The dividers will help ensure that when test taking, the students are not looking around the room. We have 33 students in a small space. They do quite a bit of free reading in the classroom. Having pillows or cushions to lay on gives them the opportunity to lay on the floor. The students use whiteboards and will need a great supply of dry erase markers. They tend to dry up quite a bit. The mailbox system will help me to be able to give them papers and keep their desks clear for work. I will need the copy paper to help with printing worksheets and other classroom activities. I can spend my money on getting the other items for projects they will need. My future students would also benefit from these items!
