My drawing students are preparing to start a project using only graphite pencils. This project will involve shading using a full range of value. Generals pencils are high quality and will allow students to develop their shading and blending techniques. They will also use their pencil sets throughout the remainder of the school year. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve student technique with graphite pencils, you'll ultimately help them create higher quality works of art. Student safety will also increase as they will have their own individual pencil sets and not need to share. Having their own pencil sets also makes students take more pride in what they do. For extra safety precaution, I'm also requesting disposable masks and hand sanitizer. Standard: VA:Cr2.HS.1II Through experimentation, practice, and persistence, demonstrate acquisition of skills and knowledge in a chosen art form using various approaches.
