To help organize my class, I want to hang racks on my back wall that I can keep all the current worksheets, extra practice problems, and notes in. This way, if a student is absent or misplaces their original copy, they can come in and grab a new one without me having to stop the class to get them one or have them wait until after class to make a new copy. With the help of the classroom keeper, students can have direct access to all material in the current and past units. Formative assessments are key to making sure students have an understanding. With the use of whiteboards, I can quickly and easily assess all students in the class without putting them on the spot. They also allow me to demonstrate problems with the students individually and give them one on one support if needed. With the extra supplies and posters, I can assure that all students have the basic materials they need as well as a more positive and lively environment. The cell phone jail and timers will help motivate the students to stay on task and essentially help create more fun and engaging classroom.
