Providing a variety of books for our class library will give my students the freedom to choose books of different genres that interest them ! This will develop their love for reading and help them become better readers. If I am able to get a library, I plan to allow students to pick several books to put into their book bin, so that they will have books that they have chose on their own ready for reading time. Although I have many upper grade books, my 1st graders need these leveled books to help them gain confidence in their reading.
