To begin with, the desks that my students are currently using are outdated, broken, and too small for many of the freshman and sophomores sitting in my classes. The new furniture will be an exciting new change for my students and will motivate them by creating a sense of pride in their classroom environment. The new desks, specifically, will provide students more comfort and more desktop space to work with. Additionally, the power strips will enable almost every student a way to charge their laptop if necessary and the printer will provide access to those students who cannot print their assignments or essays at home.
