Help me make my classroom inviting, safe and friendly. As a first year teacher there are a lot of things that I need, that I can not afford to buy on my own. My classroom is in need of furniture that is safe and inviting for our classroom read aloud. During Read Aloud, I would like to invite students to the rug to hear me read. To make it feel like home, I will use the rocking chair as a center focus for the students. I will make sure that they each have their items organized, using the shelf so that when they are ready to go back for individualized learning they know exactly where to go. The blanket will help make our learning area inviting and fun.
