One of the classes that I teach at DAA is Advisory. In Advisory, we learn about life skills, social skill, social skills, and student interest. I think that these books will be a valuable resource to help to teach my students about some valuable skills that will help them to be successful not only in school, but also in life!! In previous schools, I have heard students wonder why they do not learn about skills and topics that will prepare them for life. School should be about more than just academics and at DAA, we believe in holistic education.
