My students need these tools in order to continue to build better things. We do have one drill, however, with the membership nearly tripling the team could really use additional tools that way more students can be hands-on learners. The portable band saw will allow for us to make better cuts on the metal we use for building our competition robot as well as other bots we build in the off-season. These tools will show some students that they can do more than they ever imagined. My main goal as an educator is to prepare my kids for life after high school. Through my club I prepare them for either college or a skilled trade career.
