My students LOVE to read! But, we are running into issues with the existing library furniture. Previous librarians have been content to have students read at tables, while sitting on hard plastic chairs. I do not think this is acceptable. I want my students to come to library and be able to sit on comfortable furniture while enjoying their new library book choices! A variety of comfortable seating choices for the Reading Corner will allow students to enjoy their books more, and help them continue to see reading as a joy. I am asking for funding to purchase inflatable bubble seats and bean bag chairs.
