Currently I am the sponsor of a ping pong club at my school. We meet during the students lunch time. I'm always amazed how important something like ping pong is to my students. The students constantly remind me that the tables need to be set up so they can play ping pong. The joy that ping pong brings to my students is remarkable. The ping pong medium promotes an opportunity to relieve stress, interact with other students and exercise during lunch. Friendships have been made while participating in the ping pong club that never would have been made. Some students report that they only came to school on a particular day because they looked forward to playing ping pong. I've had to force students to take a break during ping pong club to eat lunch. The students just love this game! All the students at my school are allowed to play ping pong during lunch. Our only limitation is the 3 dilapidated ping pong tables being used. I started the club with 4 garage sale ping pong tables. The 3 tables we have left, are holding on for dear life. A new ping pong table will be such a thrill for our students!! Thank you for considering assisting our ping pong club.
