My students need some of the basics like Kleenex, hand sanitizers, and a pencil sharpener. They also need a little help in order to be successful with our new technology. I am in a Title 1 school. I have a classroom set of chromebooks, but my students need a little help being successful in a digital math classroom. My students use Google Classroom, but sometimes they also show their work on notebook paper. They take pictures of there assignments and turn them in online. However, not all my students have phones, so we need a scanner so that they can scan there assignments and upload them to Google Classroom. Since we are a 1:1 school we have the opportunity to do so much, but as a teacher I need an iPad to help monitor my students’ progress. This way I can be near my students and not have to constantly be at my desk to check students’ progress.
