Many items will help students be able to identify common tools in the animal industry and their proper use. Our students work with live animals and using the correct tools in a safe working environment for handler and animal is our number one priority. We have access to large and small animals and need supplies that are both consumables and tools to expand our learn-by doing approach to the animal sciences. Tools will be used to tool ID, testing milk samples, and learning injection procedures to name a few! Students love learning how to do new things; such as vaccinate, castrate, and treat illness and injury to name a FEW! Adding new tools to our toolbox will open the door to new labs for our animal science courses.
