Many students in the CollegeBound program have never visited a college campus. When they are able to take a tour, eat in the cafeteria, and walk into the gym and bookstore, it helps them visualize what it would be like to be a college student on that campus. Many of my former students say that going on the field trips was what inspired them to apply to their future college. On the college tours, students get to explore the entire campus with a student tour guide, who presents the campus to them and answers their questions about majors, financial aid, activities on campus, and what makes the campus unique. It is truly an inspiring experience for our students!
