Oklahoma Public Schools are very underfunded. Many schools had to go to a four day school week in order to stay open. Our school is currently juggling with budget issues as well as other schools in the State. Due to the lack of State funding, I am often turning to recycled materials to create art projects. Even with using the recycled materials my students are very enthusiastic about art. They enjoy learning about different art styles and exploring art mediums. I would like to be able to provide them with the new supplies that they want. What they are learning in my class will hopefully allow them to have an appreciation for art and help with develop critical thinking skills. I often have students tell me that art is the class they look forward to all day. I want to do my best to ensure that my students have the materials they need to create the art that they envision. Thank you for your help with supplies
