The instruments and items for movement such as scarves and a parachute will be a great addition to our music classroom. Using the instruments, students will be able to create music and explore sound. These instruments will help my students gain skills and not just in the music classroom. Using instruments will help them build s fine and gross motor skills and functional needs such as multitasking. They love to create their own beats to songs and count to the music they create. Keeping a steady beat to songs in one of the musical concepts that I use with my students. With the set of drums, my students will be able to experience keeping a steady beat with the drums and to have the opportunity to create their own beats. The scarves, stretchy band, and parachute will help create movement and keep my students active while we dance and sing to songs.
