I am asking for cultural books that my students can read in the classroom and at home with parents. These books represent the cultures that my students are from. The students never get to learn or read about their own cultures, so these books will give them that opportunity. Students deserve to see themselves represented in books. These books will also allow students to involve their parents in their learning. Students can take the books home and read with their parents. This will also open up the opportunity for the parents to teach their children about their culture. Culture is an important part of life and students should be able to read about these cultures.

About my class
