Having color copies would be beneficial to such a diverse group of students. With many of my students being new to the country, or English language learners, it can be challenging to teach them new words with everything being black and white. They struggle with trying to figure out simple things such as the color of fall or the colors of different liquids. Pictures are worth a thousand words! We are able to to learn and understand something just by seeing a picture even if we don't understand the language. Giving my students this opportunity would greatly enhance their vocabulary as well as setting them up for success throughout their educational career.
