My project, You Can Touch This!, will allow me to provide Differentiated Math Center Classroom Kits to my students. In doing this, the learning experiences for students will engage them and spark their interest in the area of math. Students who are presented with an opportunity to use math manipulatives report they are more interested in math, which results in increased math ability. My students are active learners who thrive on much needed hands-on math manipulatives! Students will be able to practice math concepts using math center manipulatives. Students will work on individual math deficits and foundational skills in order to grow to math proficiency.
