Be the change you want to see in the world. -Gandhi My students are a group of kids who are committed to making a positive change by reminding both themselves and others to choose kind. As they are reading R.J. Palacio's, Wonder, my students have learned how kindness can be spread like ripples across the sea. The students will wear the message once a week in order to show others their commitment. They want to teach other students to accept people for who they are and strive to make our community are more inclusive and loving place. My students also need these shirts to connect themselves in a visual way to each other. When an entire group of students is proudly wearing the message they want to share the community can't help but pay attention!
