The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! By giving the kids visuals such as post-it grid paper and xy coordinate grids they can use at their tables with their group, as well as calculators to solve those word problems, you're helping them utilize all the necessary tools right at their fingertips! I've known my students since sixth grade; they are essentially MY kids and I need to give them my guidance and support however I can! Also giving them access to math games to help practice and reinforce key math skills they'll need in high school will only benefit them and create college, community and career ready individuals!
