These rewards are part of a school-wide motivational program to encourage students to read. By increasing reading, students are able to build stamina, vocabulary, imagination, and comprehension skills. With all of the time that students have to spend on computers, this is a welcome activity for their brains. Students can read at school, and at home, and these prizes are presented to them in front of their peers. Students have returned from the pandemic in need of positive interactions, feedback, community bonding, and academic needs. This program allows students to receive all of these things.

About my class
