I would love to see my students improve their reading skills by reading on their own for fun. I would like to set up a reading corner in my music room to use for centers and as a calming space. I've asked for rainbow pillows so students can sit comfortably on the floor while they read. I would like to have many different books of varied reading levels available so all my students have something they want to read. Did you have a book you loved as a child? I hope to provide my students with a wide variety of books about music so they can find a book they love, in a space in which they love to read, learn and imagine.
