My students learn in a very old school building that does not have air conditioning. The summers are hot here and the building heats up and it leaves the students too distracted to effectively learn. We do our best to feed them and keep them safe. Many live without air conditioning and we try to make school a place they WANT to come. This would help tremendously. As a new teacher, I do not have one in my classroom. Some of the veteran teachers do. I would like to provide this for my students as well. I believe that school is the place they can learn that the world is vast!
