Leveled reading books are great classroom recourses. These leveled readers are important for students to become more fluent readers and will support student growth to meet the end of grade reading goals of level L or higher. They allow students to choose books that are designed towards different reading ability levels. We have limited access/ amount of these recourses and it makes things very difficult to get books into the hands of students when multiple students are on the same reading level. These books will be incorporated into independent reading and buddy reading time during centers. They will also be sent home for the scholars to read nightly for extra practice. Leveled readers will develop the students reading ability in my class now and in the future!
