These materials will provide a welcoming and safe environment for my students to have encouragement and motivation to engage in learning. They will allow them to progress socially and emotionally by giving them some items that will appeal to all their senses and promote positive thoughts and feelings. As students get to know each other and their unique abilities, they will willing want to participate in partner reading, group math, and ​social studies projects and individual writing about themselves with their personal narratives. They will be motivated to positively share more with their peers and progress academically, socially and emotionally.
