The classroom meeting rug is the heart of the classroom. It is where each day begins during morning meeting and where each day ends. It is here that students begin to development their social emotional skills, as well as develop their academic knowledge. Students are able to learn better when they feel safe and comfortable. This all starts with having a central place in the classroom to learn. By donating to our project, you will help my students have a comfortable and spacious learning environment. Too many times, I have seen students become distracted by not having enough space or worrying that they are too close to their neighbors. By having a new classroom rug with large, colorful spaces, students will be able to focus more on their learning!
