As the school year commences, my students will be excited and ready to start a new school year. I want to make my classroom as comfortable as possible for each of my students. I know that many of them come from strenuous backgrounds where there are more needs than finances. With all of their stresses, hunger should not be one of them. I want to have the basics necessities like snacks that will keep our students focused and energized to learn our math lessons. Many of our students stay after school for homework club in which students get the help for their studies that they do not get at home. It is a way to keep the students out of trouble and focused not their studies. My students sometimes stay as late as 5pm. These snacks will help them stay focused and determined to finish homework and stay on track of their studies.
