The understanding of new and exotic vocabulary is an integral foundation for success in any foreign language class, and my Latin classes are no exception. Unfortunately, many of my resources are worn and dated from use, and could use an upgrade. The Cassell's Standard Latin Dictionary set would upgrade those resources, which in turn would give students a quality vocabulary resource that could be used in all my classes. As we daily study new words, phrases, and mottoes, we could use these books to reach a deeper understanding of the Latin language, which in turn would help us understand our own language.
