Social distancing guidelines make it necessary to use technology even with face to face learning. Testing and doing lesson on the computer is difficult when students are distracted by background noise and the sounds from their peer's computers. My class needs headphones with microphones so we can meet virtually in the classroom for small group lessons while keeping students a safe distance from one another. Using the computer with headphones will help me ensure that my students are ready to learn virtually with technology if they need to do so. I have asked for 20 pairs of headphones because we are expecting students to transfer to in person learning after the first of the year.
