Using the Plicker app on the Ipad will allow a more efficient use of class time by allowing me to gauge student undestand with a scan of the classroom. Students will simply hold up their plicker cards and the Ipad will be used to scan the cards and report the results. The Ipad and Plicker will allow me to quickly determine which students need extra help and which students are able to move on to the next task. No longer will I need to spend extra time gathering exit tickets and grading them by hand. I will no longer have to manually set up different buckets based upon student understand and wait to review exit tickets.
