By creating a makerspace in our media center, our students will have a place to create and explore with LEGOs that will have them transferring reading and math skills in a natural way. All kids love LEGOs and all kids, big and small, greatly benefit by learning through play. Forget the paper and pencils, help my students learn through play! The students will be able to use the LEGO building plates and LEGO Starter Kits to accept challenges such as building bridges to withstand the weight of textbooks or recreate their favorite story! Forget paper and pencil book reports! We want our students to be thinkers and to create scenes from their favorite stories!

About my class
