All students are in a period of time where microbiology knowledge is more important than ever. Diseases are a hot topic almost every day in the news. This project will help students clear misconceptions they may have heard from unreliable sources, and become aware of risks of disease and how to prevent dangerous infections. Having hands-on lab experience brings students closer to science and nature! These petri-dishes will benefit 150 students who have never seen bacteria with their eyes but more importantly, it will foster scientific thinking and a new love for science.

About my class
