Our guinea pig, Buster is very special to my students and our school community. He was donated to our classroom last year and he has been a big hit ever since. Unfortunately, the cage that was donated is falling apart and it is difficult to keep closed. Our funds to buy his food and supplies has also been dwindling and if we don't get help, we may have to give Buster away and my students would be crushed! We are currently are doing a classroom study on guinea pigs, with Buster being the star! One of our families built a wooden maze for Buster to play inside. My students have been busy using a wide range of materials to create their own special mazes for Buster to try out. Buster is a huge part of our classroom and my students are the ones who are responsible for him and they have learned so much thus far.
