This is a definite need for my classroom. Switching from 2nd to 3rd means I left things behind for the incoming 2nd grade teacher, but more importantly it is many things they we didn't have to begin with. This is what you are helping out with: a secure place to put belongings that is all theirs. Items for our calm corner to help them refocus and de-esculate. I also have things for their reading center. Puzzles that bring lessons to life. Supplemental material that is a must. And, the biggie, last year I tried bean bags, and before the year end they had lost most of the beans, so this is a win win. I also need a great place to organize. Help this teacher to help her student. Turn this into their best year ever.
