It has brought much interest and joy to my classroom. My students are fascinated by how it works and the fact that I can send items from my laptop directly to the Toybox to be printed.\r\n\r\nSome of the things we've printed so far are flexi lizards and other creatures. We use thes lizards specifically in the classroom as a focusing tool. They sit with a student as they work and learn. If the student is not working or is being loud and/or disruptive then the lizard goes back to its home. This has really helped my younger students with focusing.\r\n\r\nI've also given out lizards and other 3D printed items as incentives to the students. They are really excited about it. The staff is also loving it, and multiple people have already talked me out of lizards that were made on the Toybox.","fullyFundedDate":1746786346000,"projectUrl":"project/building-imagination-with-3d-printing/9296586/","projectTitle":"Building Imagination with 3D Printing","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Sam","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mssam-pae"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_73857","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":469,"numTeachers":9,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":23,"percentWhite":23,"percentIndigenous":4,"percentLatinx":35,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"52.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":72.4,"schoolId":73857,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Project Accept Traice Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Project Accept Traice Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/oklahoma/tulsa-public-schools/project-accept/73857"}
