I believe that flexible seating will motivate my children to stay in their chairs during instruction time. I want to give my students the choice to choose where they would like to sit when they enter my classroom. The wobble chairs are for the students who have trouble sitting still but prefer to sit in their regular seats. The wobble stools, stay N play bouncing ball and the inflatable do-nut ball will help my students who need to move around to help with focus. The plastic stools will help my students with learning at the teacher table. The bean bags will help my students while reading in the library. Each item will serve a different purpose for each child. I want my students to feel in control of their learning and I believe that flexible seating will provide just that. Our purpose as educators is to make learning fun for students while providing them with an environment that they feel safe in. I believe flexible seating will help provide this environment for my students.
