Typical paint, pastel and pencil art projects are fine but I want my students to experiment with more interesting materials. Mosaic tiles are one of the coolest art medias you can work with. They are glittery and beautiful while allowing kids to get messy with glue. Kids get to stretch their imaginations while trying to make a pixel-like picture of video game characters out of mosaic tiles. This project will make for great projects to hang on the walls so that they can be proudly admired for years to come. Kids will be using the glue to affix the tiles to the craft plywood. The tiles we are purchasing will provide gorgeous materials for this project and others in the future.
