Many of my students do not have access to computers or technology both in or outside of the classroom. Lack of access to technology seriously impairs a child’s ability to complete assignments on time or if at all. By allowing all students access to technology, all students, regardless of their socioeconomic background, have the tools necessary to succeed. Chromebooks in the classroom allow me to prepare students with the skills necessary for the 21st century. Chromebooks in the classroom will allow my students to use technology for multimedia presentations, to research, and learn the word processing skills necessary to succeed in both higher education and the workplace.
