My goal for this year is to provide my students with books they can enjoy and share with family and friends. I feel ownership of books will elevate their confidence to read. Students who have confidence seem to be more successful at school, and life in general. My students are in need of their own personal library. My goal is to enrich my students' home library with Fiction and Nonfiction books. I have selected some Fairy Tales as well as some Guided Science Readers. Each student will receive a book at the end of each grading period and one for Christmas break. Most of our students live outside of the town limits and rarely have the opportunity to visit the library. I hope to bring the library to them!
