My students are from Delaware, from a bilingual school. Many of my students are learning Spanish as a second language and others are learning English. My students are enthusiastic and eager to learn. They love singing, dancing and playing. They are kind to each other. They come from diverse houses and cultures. They accept each other and are friends no matter what because they are loyal to each other. Many times, I have seen students helping each other, students carrying other students because they are hurt, five year old students trying to be the emotional support to another five year old. It is wonderful to see the caring and love they give to each other and me. I love being their teacher because I get to see them grow. I get to teach them all the basics from school, how to read and how to count to one hundred. I love being their teacher because I get smiles, hugs and special letters on a daily basis.
