Currently in my classroom, I have two working digital scales and thermometers that are older than my students. I am asking for new digital scales and thermometers so that students can work in smaller groups on science experiments. I will be able to teach students how to accurately measure chemicals, in both liquid and solid states. Students will be able to track temperature change with ease. With this new equipment, I can begin to build a true STEM lab. These scales and thermometers are easy to use, clean, and read, allowing science experiments to run smoothly. All equipment is durable and helps to eliminate glass from my middle school classroom (less oops moments).
