Socks are something that students often need, and I'd like to be able to provide a pair to someone whose feet are cold or whose socks got wet. I've learned that sockless people really appreciate new socks. I've also learned that students can get used to Sun Butter! They love peanut butter, but when a nut-free room became necessary, they stepped up and tried the Sun Butter. It shows me that teenagers are adaptable and willing to try new things. I don't know if my room will be nut-free this year, but I will continue to offer Sun Butter, Kashi bars, and other snacks as an option.
