Flexible seating allows children to take charge of their learning. By increasing the comfort of the students we can increase motivation, and by increasing motivation we can increase engagement. Engagement allows a student to own their learning and gives them confidence to succeed. By funding this project the students of my class will be one step closer to success. My classroom now is furnished with desks and chairs. The age of my students makes seating them in this manner restrictive and counterproductive. I aim to give them body autonomy and the freedom to move and sit around the room comfortably with the requested soft seats and canopy.

About my class
