We will be learning to use the calculator not only to accurately check our work, but we will learn how to use the calculator in real world applications. We will be applying fractions, measurement, decimals, and other functions to real world application. We will be learning how jobs and industries in our surrounding communities use calculations and the calculator in order to complete their jobs accurately. We will also focus on the importance of this tool, and knowledge we gain and how it contributes to the success of our industries and communities. As well as applying this knowledge and tool to the world of science and how the importance of this knowledge and tool is to our survival as a people, community, and world. Our students will learn the impact that this knowledge makes in our everyday lives, and the ways they can apply the knowledge gained to impact their career choices and ultimately their future.
