I teach at a Title 1 school with a collegiate magnet program that allows students to graduate with their Associate's Degrees. The amount of hard-work and dedication it takes to earn two degrees simultaneously is truly amazing, especially considering the disadvantage that many of my students start from. Without the funding that neighboring schools in wealthier areas bring in, my students have less access to technology, tutoring, and test-prep that is necessary to compete for spots at competitive universities. I am doing everything I can to help them overcome these challenges and give them the skills they need to be successful both in academics and in life.

About my class
