Storyworks and Storyworks Jr. will make a difference in my students’ learning. The articles in these magazines will allow my students to engage during independent reading time by practicing their skill of the week in a relevant text on their own level. They will also allow me to access small group lessons and implement preplanned higher level questions and vocabulary activities. Inturn, my students will ENJOY small group time, want to talk with their peers about what they read, and even have some of their own reading material to keep at home. What a difference these magazines will make in my classroom!
