Up to date and reliable technology in our Science lab will provide students with the ability to learn and grow on a medium that is changing our world as we know it. They will be able to research, collaborate, and explore their world from their seats with Chromebooks! In a world that is becoming more and more connected through technology, students from all backgrounds deserve access to it. To have more equitable access to opportunities that will help students be successful in all parts of their lives, students need to have access to up to date technology. This project will help bring this invaluable resource into our Science lab. Students will be able to use the Chromebooks to research additional sources that help further their understanding of our units. They will also have the opportunity to use the Chromebooks to improve their mastery by completing online learning activities. Additionally, the computers will help students to practice important computer literacy skills like typing and word processing that will help them communicate their findings and prepare them for later learning.
